How To Set Up A Facebook Page For Your Business
There are so many advantages to using Facebook for your business. By creating a business page for your company, this will enable you to grow your business and reach out and connect with more people. It will also allow you to view page analytics such as page views, page follows, actions on page, post engagements etc. This helps you to see where your strengths and weaknesses are, so that you can adjust your page accordingly.
Why else is it useful? It's free! Most small businesses starting up won't have a lot of money to spend on marketing and advertising. This Facebook feature can help you get your new business up and running for zero cost!
Want to find out how to get started? Follow our quick step-by-step process below.
First things first, make sure you have your own personal Facebook account set up and log in. You will be creating the business account from your personal account, but don't worry! The two will remain completely seperate. People viewing the business page won't be able to see your profile.
From the home page, click into the 'Pages' button in the navigation column along the left side of the page.
Click on the green button 'create page'.
Select the type of business eg. 'local business or place' and fill in the list of your business details.
Next, Facebook will navigate you through the process of filling in your details such the About section, adding a link to your website and adding a profile image and cover photo.
Make sure to 'publish' your page when your finished creating it in the setting tab.
And you're done!
Now you can start posting and adding content to your page as well as inviting people to like or follow your page to grow your business.
You can view your analytics by going onto the business page and clicking on the 'Insights' tab at the top.
